HOLY
SMOKES I'VE BEEN LAZY!! -- NOT. As you'll see from my
"play" list, I've been quite busy. The 1080*:
Avalanche and Final
Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles teaser
trailers from the Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Bonus Disc were added to Cube
Media. Many more different clips
will follow.

Added/linked
the TGS 2003 trailer for Capcom's Killer7

When's Halloween?

I
finally added a description for my Destiny, Beginmusic
video.

I
added one significant piece of media from Star
Wars: Rebel Strike, and it's out
of this world. I hope to add more clips like that in
the distant future. Hint: it's not the teaser trailer.

The
opening and extended trailer for Viewtiful
Joe are now available. Feel the viewtiful
joy of Friday. I feel it, and it feels good. Time to
feel it some more.

I'm
in the process of uploading the P.N.03
and Viewtiful Joe media, and I don't know
when that'll be finished. In the meantime, go watch

I
know. I'm busy. I know. Who cares. Capcom Japan just
updated their Biohazard/Resident Evil 4
trailer to reflect its appearance at TGS 2003, and so
it's linked in Cube
Media now. It seems to be the same
trailer shown at Nintendo's E3 2003 pre-show, but at
least it's not some videocam version.

Happy
done with Labor Day and schools begins again to ruin
your life informational site update brought to you by
large monkeys. I spent the past few weeks moving in
and getting adjusted to my new apartment before the
new school term started, and just plain old chillin'.
Nearly nothing got done in terms of the site since I
was hangin' with my roomie and playing games from our
nice little GameCube/Dreamcast/Playstation 2 collection,
in addition to couple new games I got (guess what they
are). I even got around to reformatting my harddrive
and reintstalling Windows to get rid of some trojans
that've been bothering my system for so long. There's
some media I intend to add, but are unable to be captured
for the moment.
So I was driving back to my apartment after having dinner
at a friend's on Labor Day night in my hometown. After
20min of driving on the freeway at 70mph in the usual
freeway night, my car bumped up from the ground along
with a noise that sounded like a gunshot, and a second
later my car's now dipped on its left side while making
a loud jarring sound. I merged a couple lanes to the
right and as I began to merge onto the emergency shoulder,
I noticed 2 cars sitting on the shoulder with their
emergency lights on. Pulled over, I turned on my emergency
lights and stepped out to see WTF went wrong. A hundred
feet ahead of my car was another car pulled over with
their lights on. I turned around to look down the freeway
where I was coming from, heard another bang, and saw
2 more cars pull over, one of them seeming to have spun
out. I then look at my tires and see that BOTH LEFT
DRIVER-SIDE TIRES WERE BLOWN OUT. MOHTER FACKER. And
that was my night before the first day of the new school
term.

A
Super
Monkey Ball 2 trailer from
last year's Nintendo Promo DVD was added, and a Final
Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles trailer was linked
in the Cube
Media section a while back (I don't
remember) so just realize that it's there waiting for
you.
08-11-03
The
two previous Metroid
Prime DVD trailers were re-encoded,
uploaded and linked to lovely FileShack instead of ugly
FilePlanet. The official Resident
Evil Zero trailer/commercial is finally
up as well.
08-06-03
I
changed a bunch of the graphics here and there (everywhere),
so the site's more colorful as a whole. And say Hi to
Chiyo-chan on the right, she'll help express the mood
of the update. More stuff scheduled for next week.
07-24-03
It's
finally done, and it's finally up; my music video for
Sega's Shenmue is now available, currently
through FileShack.com: Destiny,
Begin.
NintendoXtreme
is kindly giving us a hand by hosting the Nintendo-related
music videos. There's quite a bit of good stuff to find
there, so kindly pay them a visit.
A new F-Zero GX (JPN) commercial was kindly
linked in the Cube
Media section.
07-05-03
The
other Burnout
2 clip is up. I'm having trouble
getting the "Hyrule Loach" clip uploaded,
so it might not be up until next week.
07-01-03
Various
things have been happening.
I successfully managed to sit thru June without any
major updates. But that's not news, that's just lame.
However, some media bits from 007:
nightfire were quietly added -- I
don't remember how long ago.
I'm finally done moving all my crap out of my apartment.
Moving & cleaning sucks.
I received my pre-ordered copy of Mega Man Network
Transmission about a week before it was out
in stores (thank you Capcom), and though I'm far from
beating it, I love this game. My shipping package also
included this cool but "small" MegaMan.EXE
T-shirt, a full color mini-catalog of current Capcom
games, and a mini-CD containing the whole MegaMan.com
website. I wish Nintendo did similar things.
Media updates for Beach
Spikers, Burnout
2, and the N64
section will pop up this week, including the ever-mysterious
"Hyrule Loach". A new trailer for F-Zero
GX was also linked in the Cube
Media section.
Various screen caps from Ocarina of Time
throughout the site have been/will be replaced with
better caps from the GC/Master Quest disc.
Isn't that exciting?
The pro.mightorindustries.net location of this site
(including the downloadable music videos) is down until
further notice.
Lastly, the Music
Videos section has been updated with
some very very minor bits of info regarding my latest
video project that's in-progress. And I'll leave you
with that. I think I'll rent Hitman 2
tonight.
05-29-03
All
of the previous F-Zero GX trailers listed
on official Japanese website are gone now, but they've
replaced them with an even longer, awesome trailer.
Nice music, with some CG story scenes too. It's linked
in the Cube
Media section.
I also forgot to mention I'm one of the 15 2nd place
winners from Nintendo Power's Feb. 2003 contest; I finally
received a package with Logitech's Speedforce Racing
Wheel, Speeforce Pedals, accessories, and NASCAR
Thunder 2003. I'll be playing Burnout
2 with power, no, SUPER POWER! You might be
surprised with the things you might get once you're
a subscriber.
05-21-03
Just
a few minutes ago I bought the recent Nintendo
"Demo Disc" (officially, it's the
"Nintendo GameCube Preview Disc")
from my local Target store via a reluctant electronics
clerk who wasn't sure whether to hold it back or not,
but anyway, she was nice enough to sell this particular
copy to me since I was the first to ask about it. "Only
with the purchase of a GameCube system" -- my ass!
The damn discs should've been on sale (or at least free
with Nintendo Power) a long time ago.
Part
1 of the Zelda:
Wind Waker introduction is up. Trailers
for Viewtiful Joe and Lost Kingdoms
2 were linked in the
Cube
Media section.
04-15-03
Added
one final, "last" movie for Resident
Evil: Rebirth, starring Chris Redfield.
The next time I release a Resident Evil
clip, it'll be a music video.
The intro to The
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will
be online next week. It's huge, 2 separate files at
640x480, totalling 200mb and 10 minutes worth of video.
Some
of you might've noticed that the opening from The
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (GC)
went online days ago. The introduction to the game will
compliment it soon.
03-03-03!!
3:33?!?! An Eternal
Darkness reference? You don't have
Eternal Darkness? Blasphemy!
In unimportant news, I bought Love Hina
DVD Vol. 2 online from Best Buy with free ground shipping
last week. Naturally, I got those annoying Bizrate emails
that followed my order to ask me about my online buying
experience. If I filled out their survey I'd be entered
into a daily $25 giveaway, not that I'd win, but what
the hell, I filled it out anyway. To my delight, at
the end they gave me "FREE" 1-year subscriptions
to Electronic Gaming Monthly, Time,
Maxim, and Discover magazines
(all of my choosing) for a handling fee of $4 -- NOT
BAD for $150+ worth of newstand magazines. I wonder
what other free stuff's out there.
I also got the March issue of Nintendo Power. What's
neat about this year's (not that I've seen previous
years) issues is their bindings are beginning to form
the illustration of the Wind Waker version
of Link in his sailboat. However, while subscribers
got the Smash Bros. Ochestra CD in January,
and a cute sticker set in February, March gives us NOTHING!
Nintendo, you make me sad.
02-26-03
Alrighty!
"My" non-interlaced (read: nice and clear)
DivX build of the latest trailer of the Legend
of Zelda: The Wind Waker is finally
up thanks to the nice people at FileShack. It, too,
is also found on the North American Zelda: Ocarina
of Time/Master Quest Bonus Disc. The Super
Mario Sunshine "Platforming"
clips are also online.
The
GameCube
Media section has been revamped to
be less graphic intensive and more organized. There's
a bunch of movie updates coming, the first of which
is the latest Metroid
Prime trailer, off the Zelda
GC 'Bonus Disc', and a quick Resident
Evil Zero boss battle.
As you may have guessed, I got my Zelda
Bonus Disc just a few days ago, so media from Ocarina
of Time will finally be posted as well. It's
about friggin' time Nintendo gave away cool thingies
like this.
02-18-03
I
picked up Beach Spikers for $30 at BestBuy
a few days ago, and damn, I haven't had this kind of
multiplayer fun since Mario Tennis. The
custom character options and unlockable goodies are
cool, but more importantly playing it is a lot like
Mario Tennis in the sense that it's easy
to learn and the blocking/returning options are realistically
varied and appropriate (unlike the Virtua Tennis
series which decides to forget about half of all tennis
strokes in existence -- "between the leg"
hits are cute, but disregarding ball spin is blasphemous
and makes the experience much less realistic than Mario
Tennis; surprised, no?). I do regret missing
the chance to buy Beach Spikers while
it previously had a $10 price tag, but in the end it
was $30 well spent.
Had I not bought that, I might've gotten another Love
Hina DVD.
02-09-03
FileShack
has some nice new (MUST SEE) trailers for F-Zero
GC and The
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
They're in DivX
5.0.3 format (previous versions and
substitute filters WILL NOT work), and about 14MB apiece.
Since they sport the "newer" GameCube logo
animation on startup, I suspect these trailers are also
found on the Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest
bonus disc that're recently trickling out.
02-07-03
Let
me reiterate: DON'T shop at GameStop's online store
-- not even IGN's version of it. Free shipping coupon
code my ass. WHAT THE FUKK is wrong with their ordering
system?! I hand it the coupon code, I expect to see
discounted shipping, it hands me BULLSHITE. FREE SHIPPING
means FREE SHIPPING not "this item involves an
extra pre-order bonus which will ship earlier than the
original item therefore we must charge you the non-negotiable
extra $4.95 and totally reject your free shipping coupon
and charge you the full total of $10 worth of UPS Ground
shipping for the early bonus and original item because
we're complete idiots who can't follow our own instructions."
I
just added a nice long Eternal
Darkness preview movie. If you've
never seen the game, I recommend watching this video,
and if don't have the game at all, I recommend buying
it. Seriously.
I
just tried out the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
demo at the mall a few hours ago and.... WOW (!!!).
And I'll be taking my videos down for a few days, to
allow the new Metroid
Prime movies to get uploaded.
And in response to the trailer for the new Matrix
movies: "Good god, Keanu Reeves can fly now."
01-15-03
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
-- The Super Smash Bros. Melee Orchestral Concert
CD is finally mine! Beautiful... I think I'm
gonna cry...
More importantly, I'll be making my Zelda64
video available instead of N-Racing.
If you want something that's offline, just email me
and I'll fix it right up.
While we're not normally able to do this, I have made
a special exception in your case and have started your
subscription with the January issue (so that you'll
receive the bonus CD). What this means is that your
subscription will now run from January 2003 until December
2003. The special January issue should arrive within
the next couple of weeks."
It seems I'll be getting the Jan. 2003 Nintendo Power
issue with the Super Smash Bros. Orchestral Concert
CD after all! Sweetness!
01-10-03
All
4 Pikmin movies are finally up, and N-Racing
is also sheltered at FilePlanet. My long-delayed Shenmue
video project is again underway as well. I know some
of you have downloaded everything on this site, so while
you're waiting for me to dig up something, visit the
sites in the Links
section. Mario
Kart Central was recently
added, and The
Minibosses have a new MP3
released (rock on).
