:: About this place ::

"Six Sided Video" (formerly known as "OP666 Vids") is the fan-media "studio" created/maintained by Julius "Professional 666" Bautista. My interest in media production/video editing began when I took a "Multimedia Productions" class in my senior year of high school (Class of '99!), somewhat introducing me to the worlds of photography and video editing. Ultimately, it was the Zelda64 commercial/trailer airing on television back in 1998 that inspired me to begin making videos. By the end of my first semester, I finished my first project: a five-minute-long "trailer" of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Of course, it wasn't very complex, polished, or coherent, but the feeling I got while working on it (and seeing the finished product) was very alive and simply fun. Having a collection of emotions and ideas that needed to be let out, I was looking for a better way to express myself and my interests; my motivation to produce hand-drawn artwork died, and adopting a new (and versitile) artform was integral in maintaining my sanity. After finishing the Zelda64 video, I was damn sure that video editing was what I needed.
