Here I get a feel for my control settings designed for "Pro (Daisy) and beginners alike" by trying out different looking/aiming actions.
Tons of repetition in this video, so it's much longer than it needed to be; I didn't pay much attention to time as I focused on the feel of the movements. Enabling good performance while producing a "natural" feel and appearance (instead of the typical, jerky, unrealistic fixed-center "FPS" camera) was the basic idea behind the customization effort.
I originally made this video to go along with an article I planned for Pietriots less than a year ago, but I'll save the article for a little later (I'M SO LAZY). |
