``This... is my BOOMSTICK!``
Live demo with my ``CTA Digital Shot Gun for Wii`` with calibrated aim. Ghost Squad's control options can utilize the gun shell's relocated C/Z buttons for secondary actions, and the shell's "iron sights" allow for proper 1-to-1 aim. The game requires at least 10-ft of space for calibration to work; any less, you'll lose accuracy; your gun height relative to the sensor bar can also be an issue. In the video, I'm sitting on a barstool with its back against the wall and my Wii Remote barely 10-ft from the TV screen. I'm pressing the A-button in some parts becuz I forgot to change my button setup.
This shell's main trigger (that I wish was an extension of the Z-trigger) is kinda stiff. Using the game's unlockable shotgun was a nice surprise since I don't have to rely so much on cramp-inducing-rapid-firing. Plus, it sounds and feels "right". The shell's full-sized stock also helps stabilize your aim and reduce the wear on your shoulders, unlike the "floating" submachine gun schemes (when aiming properly). Overall it's an interesting alternative that expands on my Awesome Squad experience. |
