VS. Fire Leo, the boss that made most players cry after they'd finally made it past the previous gauntlet of boss clones. Contains gameplay spoilers.
This old video clip was the product of my first time experimenting with 60fps footage for publishing. I could only capture interlaced video at the time, so I did some trial and error to see what deinterlacing approach I liked best. Becuz the full-sized video had reduced resolution/detail, I downscaled the frame size and hoped the shrunken result wasn't a complete mess.
As for Fire Leo, I found him to be the EASIEST boss of the group (after practice) on "Adult" difficulty. His pattern turns out to be extremely rigid (reminds me of classic Mega Man X bosses), yielding the results you see at the end. The only demanding part is the general timing/execution of your input, since using most of Joe's abilities makes it easy to slip/fumble. |
